  1. OUTPUT DISPLAY HELP   --   Silicon Secretary V1.1 August 20, 1990
  2.  
  3.    For a description of the menu options click on the SCREEN and press
  4. the HELP key or choose HELP from the menu.
  5.  
  6. YOUR CONTROL OVER THE DISPLAY
  7.  
  8.   There are six gadgets as well as the cursor keys to help you with the
  9. text that is displayed.
  10.  
  11. UP & DOWN ARROWS
  12.    They move the text up or down one line at a time, providing that there
  13.    is more than a window full of text.
  14.  
  15. PROPORTIONAL GADGET
  16.    This lets you move anywhere in the text by dragging it with the mouse.
  17.  
  18. 'P' - (PAUSE GADGET)
  19.    This is a PAUSE button.  It only works while new text is being
  20.    displayed.  Click it once to pause and again to continue.
  21.  
  22. 'S' - (STOP GADGET)
  23.    This allows you to abort any new text that is being displayed.
  24.    You will be asked to verify this before stopping.  There is no way
  25.    to continue the displaying text after you stop it.
  26.  
  27. ESC  - (ESCape key)
  28.    Does the same thing as the STOP gadget.
  29.  
  30. 'PRT' - (PRINT GADGET)
  31.    This will dump the text currently in the display buffer to your
  32.    printer.  The display buffer contains the text above and below the
  33.    text that may be currently be visible.
  34.  
  35. CURSOR UP & CURSOR DOWN
  36.    They move the text up or down one line at a time, providing that there
  37.    is more than a window full of text.
  38.  
  39. SHIFTED CURSOR UP & SHIFTED CURSOR DOWN
  40.    They move the text up or down one PAGE at a time, providing that there
  41.    is more than a window full of text.  Actually it's a page minus one
  42.    line.

  44. CURSOR LEFT & CURSOR RIGHT
  45.    They move the text left or right one character at a time.  This allows
  46.    you to see the entire 80 columns of text.  Any other (up, down, etc.)
  47.    action with the text will remain offset until you re-align, close the
  48.    display window or display different text.  This does not affect
  49.    any printouts, only what you see in the window.  You may offset the
  50.    text up to 5 characters to see the 80th column.

  52. SHIFTED CURSOR LEFT & SHIFTED CURSOR RIGHT
  53.    They move the text left or right 5 characters at a time, otherwise
  54.    it's the same as unshifted.

  61.   The page head for the actual stats made up of three lines and looks like
  62. this:

  68. Where 'Tropicana' would be the name of thew alley where you bowl.
  69. 'Times Other' would be the name of your league.
  70. 'WEEK 3 OF 30' is the current week of the entire season.
  71. 'Wed, 12:30 PM' is the day and time that your league bowls.
  72. 'MON., APR. 9, 1990' is the current date (from the Amiga's clock).
  73. 'Allen Maroney' would be the name of your league's secretary followed
  74.                 by their phone number.
  75. 'PAGE 2' is the current page number.
  76.  
  77.   Below that head will be another that looks like this:

  82. 'PL' is the team's current position based on games won and total pins
  83.      if the teams are tied.
  84. 'TEAM' is the name of the team.
  85. 'WON' is the games won this half.
  86. 'LOST' is the games lost/forfeited this half.
  87. 'SEASON WON' is the games won both halfs., if there are two.
  88. 'SEASON LOST' is the games lost/forfeited both halfs, if there are two.
  89. 'T/PINS' is the total handicapped pin count for the team.
  90. 'HSG' the team's high scratch game.
  91. 'HSS' the team's high scratch series.
  92. 'HHG' the team's high handicap game.
  93. 'HHS' the team's high handicap series.
  94.  
  95.   The next head is above the individual's statistics.  It looks like this:

  99. 'TM' is the team number.  This is displayed only next to the first
  100.      bowler on the team. The bowler's name prints to the right.
  101.      If the bowler is a female an astrisk will print prior to her name.
  102.      If the bowler holds a office a letter representing that office will
  103.      follow the bowler's name.  The offices are:

  112. 'AVG' is the bowler's current average.
  113. 'L/S' is the bowler's last series (scratch).
  114. 'GMS' the number of games bowled.
  115. 'T/PIN' is the total pins (scratch).
  116. 'HSG' the bowler's high scratch game.
  117. 'HSS' the bowler's high scratch series.
  118. 'HHG' the bowler's high handicap game.
  119. 'HHS' the bowler's high handicap series.
  120. 'HC' the current handicap.
  121. 'EA' is the entering average.  If the bowler has an average from a previous
  122.      league, that score with an astrisk next to it will appear here.  If
  123.      there was no previous average the average of the first series will be
  124.      displayed here without an astrisk.
  125. '200' the number of 200+ games this season.
  126. '500' the number of 500-599 scratch series this season.
  127. '600' the number of 600+ scratch series this season.
